A lot of hyundai/kia models from around 2010 with electric assisted steering are affected by a problem where a small coupler wheel between the steering column/motor disintegrates and causes a clunking noise in the steering column. Other models like soul, elantra, etc are affected by this.At the dealership I worked at (about a year ago) we charged 3 hours of labor (around $320) plus the $0.20 part.
