No heartbeat at first ultrasound. Hi, I went for an early ultrasound on April 15 when they thought I would have been 9 weeks (based off LMP) but turns out I measured about 6.9mm which is around 6 weeks 5 days. The point of the ultrasound is for dating the pregnancy. Going off LMP is an estimate until you have your dating ultrasound. At 5+2 it would be unlikely that you’d see a heartbeat. In 2 weeks you should be able to see the flicker, keep in mind it might still be too early to HEAR the heartbeat.
