Pet: Id just go with a triple attack 10,6,6 and a double resist 10, 5 and socket a boon or something. Make sure to get a pet with a blade especially if you go water works over crafted hat, the extra blade can help so much especially with death since crow becomes much weaker feeling. Celestial spellemental pack has the ship of fools spell which is the best death AOE in the game. You do not need packs for gear and best pets come from pet hatching.
