With my first pregnancy with my dd. I had a bleed on 10 dpo which I assumed was af. When the bleed stopped I tested 13 dpo, bfn! I tested again 14 dpo as I felt so odd and got my bfp. I read that it can take 2-3 days for hcg to get into your blood then another 2-3 for it to get in your urine so depending on the concentration of your urine you might not get a positive until 12dpo.
