(KKTV) - Colorado Springs Utilities held a press conference Friday to give an update on the power outage across the city following Wednesday’s power outage.The power outage was caused by an electrical failure that resulted in a fire underground in downtown Colorado Springs on Monday. CSU said it was from a transformer experiencing equipment failure.
