There's lots of animals and many of them are lower classes and relatively easy to kill. It also doesn't have any animals that will actively try to kill you. Med ved used to be my least favourite map now it's probably my 4th behind revontuli, silver ridge and New Zealand because I found a diamond musk deer a diamond wild boar and a diamond moose within 2 and a half hours. There's a small lake in that area with a point that juts out into the lake with a permanent stand. Yes spawn is random. The way I have gotten them is through herd management. I'll stick with one animal the whitetail and only hunt whitetails. I'll only take the 2 biggest bucks out of that particular herd and move on. No females until I get that say 20th male kill then only one female.
