I just replaced my Honeywell thermostat - everything was working.. Heat and AC. I have (5) wires: R, C, W, Y, G I installed the ecobee 3 lite, and the AC kicks on, but is not cold. I re-installed the Honeywell and it works fine again. The only difference is the Honeywell has a jumper between the Rc & Rh terminal.Manually turning on the fan wouldn't work, and the AC also has to run the fan at the same time as the compressor. I jumped the fan to power and it started no problem. Talked to Ecobee support who had me do the same tests and they sent me a new thermostat which fixed the problem.…
