Dec 12, 2016 · Guys, Does anyone have a list of suffix letters used following the serial numbers on Farmall tractors? I am specifically interested in the era of the Farmall 100. I cant remember at the moment but I know there is a "D" and another letter following the serial number on my tractor. The number you are looking at, 251089R1, is NOT the serial number, that is the engine block part number. There should be a flat spot on the block that has the serial number stamped in it. You can also get your year by searching the tractor for casting codes, the letter at the end of the code is the year.
