At approximately 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, Fiber Connect became aware of an issue with the State's Middle Mile distribution hub in Great Barrington, which affected the upstream internet connection. Fiber Connect subscribers received notice of the issue by email at 8:06 AM.South central MN. Had my first major outage today. Have had Fidium since July and until now it's been rock solid. Fidium has home fiber. You'll mostly notice if you need upload speeds. As far as downstream reliability and service, all ISPs are kinda bad. Tough industry.
