Understanding the RCSA process. Broadly speaking, risk and control self assessments involve the following actions: Identify risks. Determining which risks should be covered by an RCSA. Assess risks. Assessing the likelihood that an adverse event could take place, and the possible impact of that event.our evaluation approach and our understanding of our impact. We have continuously developed evaluation since our in-house team was established in 2013. Publication of this framework meets one of our goals on transparency and openness. We also wish to inform the development of evaluation of innovation support more widely.
