Totally agree with you. Got the same problem with cracking rear fender. Mine is Gotrax Apex Pro, which has a G3 fender. I ended up hot-glued plastic strips alone the rim to reinforce it and removed the hook on the rear fender. This way the vibration is reduced. The design of this type of fender is definitely flawed.
