TikZ is a LaTeX package that allows you to create high quality diagrams—and often quite complex ones too. In this first post we'll start with the basics, showing how to draw simple shapes, with subsequent posts introducing some of the interesting things you can do using the tikz package. To get started with TikZ we need to load up the tikz package:An interval on a graph is the number between any two consecutive numbers on the axis of the graph. If one of the numbers on the axis is 50, and the next number is 60, the interval is 10. The interval remains the same throughout the graph.

Draw edges with nodes for description. Use options loop and bend for loops and bent edges. Specify left and right for bend direction and node placement. For example, if i write x^2 then when i go into preview mode, a little graph with the function is displayed.
