First post here. Thanks for all who contribute to this great forum! I am currently replacing my 2010 Odyssey alternator. Got everything ready for removal, but after removing the alternator bolts, the alternator is freely pivoting on the lower bolt bushings (which I believe were pushed in when the bolt was originally tightened.)If your repalcement alternator is not a Denso, you should get a 3rd alternator installed. Valve adjustment has nothing to do with spool valve labor, as you do not remove the valve covers when replacing just the top half of the spool valve.
