Each and everyone has/had issues using BT connections consistently. In my '21 JT I use a BT dongle to replace the wire which of course adds an additional device into the mix. Here is what cured it and I have not had any CarPlay connection problems in my JL or any car since. I usually keep my phone in my pocket, when not driving. This caused pocket lint and dust to build up in the lightning connector plug. Yep. Since you are getting some reaction on the steering wheel, then you probably have the right harness. I would start there and make sure your harness includes steering control.First, touch the Phone button on your Uconnect screen in your 2022 Jeep Wrangler. You will see a list of previously paired devices. Identify your iPhone and delete it from the system. Once you’ve deleted the phone from the system, follow the steps from the above section to re-pair your Bluetooth connection.I always plug my iPhone up and use apply CarPlay for navigation and music.
