Knocking noise..noise coming..the passenger side dash, approx 4 knocks There is a knocking noise coming from the lower section of the passenger side dash, approx 4 knocks per second, for 15 to 20 seconds, after changing A/C position from Recirculate to Outside air or vic …It was usually pretty constant, but hard to pinpoint the source of the noise. When I had loose TC bolts, it had more of a deep knock sound that definitely seemed to come from the bottom end, but hard to determine where for sure. Also, the TC bolt sound can come and go based on how smooth, or how fast the car is idling. Hope this helps.

The glovebox and the inner glovebox cover. compartment are removed, you gain access through that opening.
