Our department and affiliated faculty offer a wide range of courses focusing on diverse forms of art and visual culture from prehistory to the present in Europe, the U.S., East Asia, and Africa, both within national traditions and transnationally. Linda Stone-Ferrier specializes in seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish art. Her research interests include scenes of daily life, landscapes, and the art of Rembrandt.
