The quality is top notch and surprisingly they feel like a Macmillan A4/A5 and are well balanced. They are heavier then a KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS by about 1 to 2 pounds and priced about 100-150$ more as well.The KRG is lighter in weight, much lighter. Plastic/polymer stock with alum bedding block. The Oryx is a tank. Alum with plastic panels. Both work, depends on what you are going to do with the rifle. Hunting rifle to carry, KRG BRAVO hands down. PRS, blind hunting, sitting on a mountain, or a ridge, the Oryx. JMHO.I went from a KRG X-Ray to an MPA and just couldn't deal with the pistol grip either. From there I went to Manners stocks for years but finally made my way back to KRG and now my two main guns have X-Ray and Bravo chassis on them. I have narrowed my choices down to either the KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS. The only chassis I have ever owned was an Oryx. I know that I don't want to go that route again. As far as ergonomics go, they appear to be pretty close.

Lots of options out there for stocks and chassis. MDT LSS, MDT XRS, KRG Bravo, Oryx, PDC Custom, MDT ACC, XLR Element, MPA CZ Chassis and Manners stocks all come to mind off the top of my head. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. All depends on your price point. They are both excellent stocks, very well made and use good magazines. Given MDT's rapidly growing reputation for good design, excellent manufacturing and good value, its magazines may eventually challenge the current AICS 'standard' role in this market.
