I have a John Deere X300 Riding Lawn Mower. I have replace the PTO switch, have 12.6 volts on the battery, checked fuses. ... The mower belt drive does not engage where PTO switch is pulled ... my john deere L120 riding mower wont keep the mower running after about 15 min. Could it be a bad PTO switch to engage mower. Motor runs fine otherwise.There should be an electrical connector for the clutch power not far from the clutch. Unplug and see if you have power at this connector. Make sure your PTO switch is "on" in order to find power at this point. My PTO clutch has a 2-wire connector.
