I bought the 1000LM mainly because of the 6X zoom. I find that the high lumen NEBO flashlights don't zoom in enough for my liking and should be called flood lights (I have the 6K Redline and the 12K). The 1000LM Davinci has a decent zoom and is awesome and I highly recommend it. The battery life is poor. Uses a 21700 type of battery, that is impossible to find as a replacement. Is not even listed on Nebo web-site this proprietary type of 21700 battery.
