I wanted to start a series that shows single-class builds that are viable from start-to-finish in the game. This is one of my favorite archer builds that peppers out some hefty damage. As another user already said, martial and gish builds benefit more than magic ones for multi-class. Nothing kickstarts you like "free" +2 to all events. And do not accept the deal ... All the buff spells. You extend anything at or under 1 minute/level and leave the other 5 slots open for full BAB monsters of your choice. It works really well, better if you turn off the mystic theurge's AI and have him in parked at the dungeon entrance. His input is buffs and non gameplay skills.
Holy Vindicator opens up about a half dozen builds of varrying uniqueness. Negative Energy Vindicator is a very good offensive tank build. Positive Energy is going to be a sick healer, and a great alternative (or addition) to Paladin if you want to be great in melee and capable of healing your friends.It's not too different from how you build any two-hander. You want a CON of at minimum 14, a STR of 17 or higher. As a Paladin you should get a CHA of 14 or 15.
