Rimworld mods not showing up
Has anybody else had this issue where mods are stuck on "downloading" state on the mod list? This problem seem to be appearing randomly, but usually won't go away with a restart, waiting a day or two might help it. Thanks dude! Hopefully the original problem gets resolved. Welcome, if you try it and run into trouble, let me know and I'll help ...I hit the Mods option and it takes me to the mod screen, except bugged out and I am unable to scroll or see any buttons. I tried restarting both Steam and my computer but the problem persisted. Next I reinstalled the game, which made some progress. Got a similar problem. Can't access any menus except the main menu. Click load game, mods, or anything else and the screen is blank. Normally this kind of issue is because you start Rimworld while Steam is in offline mode, or you start Rimworld outside of Steam. Steam's usually very picky with workshop interaction with games. Past that, if you unsub and resub to something, does a download actually happen?Help! Main Menu UI Not Showing Up. @Malbatorus, that is intended. Since different versions of mod has the same mod name or steam code, they all will be added. But when sorting done, it will use only active one. Try to download latest RimPy version (link in description), probably you use outdated version.Just the other day I got back into Rimworld, chose several mods and had a GUI problem whereby menu items were missing from the architect tab. I reduced the number of mods and the problem magically went away. It's not a crash / freeze, it's an INCREDIBLE slowdown. But it seems to be proportional to the number of mods rather than a specific one. I used a process of removing all my subscribed mods and placing them in the rimworld mods folder and running with steam closed.
