Yep, a 4 digit serial number that looks machine stamped instead of roll marked like the one on my blued Old Army of '96-'97 vintage. According to the Ruger website it looks like this gun was manufactured in 1975.This revover was made sometime pre-1978. Serial number: 145-0601X. This blackpowder revolver is like new — it doesn’t even have a cylinder-turn line! The nipples appear new and un-fired! The original factory walnut grips with Ruger logos are in very nice shape. Standard 7.5-inch barrel and target adjustable sights.
