So I have gotten up to Yhorm and before that I released Siegward from his chamber in dungeon. I managed to get every step of his quest line before that in order, even did everything with patches, and he won't show up for Yhorm ...Note that Greirat will be doomed in these cases: If you talked to Siegward in Irithyll: Do not kill Alva the Spurned, who invades when embered — just before the Irithyll Dungeon Bonfire. Do not proceed into Irithyll Dungeon. To save Greirat from Irithyll, you have to save Siegward from the well outside the Church before the Cathedral of the Deep by buying his armor from Patches and giving it to him. Either that or talk to Patches after Greirat leaves so he can save him.
