Here's a quick comparison I did with no ENB of interior lighting. Mangaclub did a lot of work and put together these comparisons of exterior and interior lighting. This is with Vividian, which is supposed to work with all lighting mods. It tends to make exterior and interior lighting look better, and can be used with just about any other lighting or weather mod. It even makes flame spells and atronachs look better. I use it with the updated Obsidian port for exteriors, and alongside Luminosity and Window Shadows for interiors, and it looks gorgeous.NAT 3.0 is the best ENB weather IMO. Azurite Weathers is great too, but as far as I know it isn't finished and it doesn't have a ton of ENBs compatible with it yet. Cathedral Weathers is another popular one, but I found it was too intense for my liking. Many of the weather conditions reduce your visibility to zero.

It's not just obsidian that doesn't play nice with ELFX exterior module, it's any weather mod.
