Sp20 wads
I was recently given a bag or SP20 wads and would like to use them to load some 20 ga 1 oz loads in STS hulls. I have Longshot, Universal, and 20/28 powders as well as Cheddite and Fio 616 primers. The WAA 20F1 wad has been discontinued for years and the Rem SP20 wad seemingly not in production. I have about 100 of the SP20 wads left. The Remington load is at max pressure. But either of those would be about as good as it gets for 2 3/4" lead reloads for turkey.Shortest - RXP-20 and Versalite-20. RXP is tapered, but what is probably more of an issue is that the OP section of the wad is very shallow. I believe a long OP cup can expand to get a good seal on a tapered wad.
