I honestly think there's this weird and unhealthy obsession with score prediction whether it be UWorld % or NBME. Unless you're 1-2 weeks out, I don't think it matters too much. I did fairly poorly on my shelf exams (just passing) because I didn't get through as much of UWorld (only about 60%), but did well on Step 2 spending 90% of my time on Uworld. Undoubtedly, if you really mastered Step-Up 2 medicine it would help you, but it's a way more passive way of learning than Uworld and has some extraneous material IMO.I've read that uwsa and the newest NBME are supposed to be pretty good predictors. not sure on the UW percentile though. uw is supposed to be used like a text book as opposed to an assessment tool.
